Wallace attended Jacksonville State University in Northeast Alabama as a freshman in the 2010–11 season after attending Aldenham School and growing up in Pinner, England. Wallace then turned pro.

Wallace was chosen to represent Great Britain and Ireland in the first Hero Cup match against Continental Europe in January 2023. Wallace scored 2.5 out of a possible 4 points, including a win over Thomas Detry in singles, but his team lost.
He tied for ninth place in the Valspar Championship on the PGA Tour in March; the following week, he won the Corales Puntacana Championship in the Dominican Republic.
