She spent the first 18 years of her life in Woodburn, Oregon before moving out from there in 2010.
Nauta was 15 years old when she bagged her first opportunity to model.
She won her first modeling competition at the age of 17, which was the U.S. Elite Model Look. In 1999, Kate was sent on to take part in the finals of the Elite Model Look contest that was held in Nice, France.
As an actress, Kate made her debut theatrical film appearance as Lola in Transporter 2 in 2005, alongside the likes of prominent actors Jason Statham and Amber Valletta. Her music tracks Revolution and Brilliant Mistake were also featured in the film.
Kate’s brother Josh who had been diagnosed with brain cancer in the past lost his battle to the condition in the fall of 2017.
