With Quiet Riot, he applies the black and white polka dots theme to become the group's icon. He peaked as a guitarist in Ozzy Osbourne's solo career, performing on tracks such as "Crazy Train" and "Mr. Crowley" on the Blizzard of Ozz album. "Crazy Train" presents one of the most famous heavy metal guitar riffs. He died in a plane crash while touring with Osbourne in Florida in 1982.
