Disa is the princess of the Dwarven city of Khazad-dum. On Thursday, September 1, 2022, at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET, the first two episodes of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will be released on Amazon Prime Video.

According to an Amazon Studios news release, Nomvete is a theatrical performer born in the United Kingdom of African and Iranian descent. Her RSC stage credits include Dexter in Vice Versa, Miss Littlewood, and England People Very Nice (by Royal National Theatre). Nomvete also portrayed Sofia in the European debut of The Color Purple (by Menier Chocolate Factory), an adaptation of Alice Walker’s book of the same name.
