Around 3:30 pm on Wednesday in San Francisco, KPIX saw Gwin being taken into custody and placed outside his gallery on the 700 block of Montgomery Street.

Outrage over Gwin’s use of a hose to spray the lady lasted the whole week before. In the early hours of Monday morning in the city’s Financial District, a video showing the owner and operator of Foster Gwin Gallery blasting a homeless lady with a garden hose went viral.

Gwin claimed he’d had enough on Monday. He acknowledged having lived there for forty years. He has assisted many homeless individuals who needed it and has come into contact with a lot of them, yet he has never had any interpersonal conflicts.

Strong views were voiced by local business owners on the event, and several of them were startled to find that an arrest warrant had been filed. Most individuals choose not to comment.

Charges Against Collier Gwin: Will He Go To Prison?

According to the DA’s office, Gwin faces a maximum sentence of six months in county prison and a $2,000 fine.

The San Francisco District Attorney’s Office issued a statement saying that the alleged beating of a member of their community without shelter is unacceptable. Mr. Gwin will be appropriately held responsible for his conduct.

The episode, according to San Francisco Mayor London Breed, reminded her of how the Police handled civil rights protestors in the 1960s, she said on Friday.
